Spot and Nikki Yesterday
Nikki & Spot as kittens.
Both cats were abandoned as kittens and subsequently rescued. Spot was found wandering in heavy traffic -- her eyes were glued shut with mucous from an upper respiratory infection. Nikki was tossed through the front door of a veterinary clinic before she was able to walk. Nobody saw who abandoned either cat. Nikki is the grey one, and Spot is the white one. Spot got her name from the dark smudge on her head when she was a kitten. The smudge disappeared, but the name stuck.

The first picture I ever took of Spot. She always ran straight toward me whenever she saw me, and was hard to focus on.
Nikki always slept on her back.
Spot at about 20 weeks.

Nikki is polydactyl, and has large "thumbs".
